Many of us have a story about Coach Greene. We have heard many statements about Coach over the last couple of days…..”He was a man among men”, “He had a powerful impact on so many lives”, “He was a man of great conviction whom everyone respected”. Every one of those statements is genuine and incredibly true. I have never met anyone who had a sideways word to say about Coach.
Coach Greene wore many hats. He was a teacher, coach, mentor, colleague, and friend to mention a few. In those roles he set a lofty standard in the classroom, on the football field, and as a caring human being. Coach Greene embodied all that is good and pure about the human spirit. For everyone that he touched, he made you want to be a better person. Coach Greene will forever be in our minds and hearts. Once a Patriot, always a Patriot.
Many of us have a story about him. All of us are better for having known Coach Larry Greene.
Thank you to all who participated in our
